This webinar, the second in a four-part series, provides an overview of a project, to update the Guide to Road Design (AGRD) Part 4 series.

This session explains how to implement the changes in the AGRD parts 4 and 4A, including pedestrian and railway crossings, horizontal alignment, sight distance, auxiliary lanes, truck acceleration lanes, right turn and left turn treatments.

A ‘push-pull’ approach to minimise jurisdictional supplements to Austroads Guide to Road Design

Austroads has reviewed jurisdictional practices of developing supplements to its Guide to Road Design and devised a process that will reduce the need for supplements. This includes a pathway for adding supplement material to the Guide.
