The four parts of the Guide to Road Tunnels provide high level guidance to practitioners involved in the planning, design, operation and maintenance of road tunnels in Australia and New Zealand. Principles and standards identified are based on Australasian and international experience. International practices have been considered in the light of Australasian experience and adopted (where appropriate), cognisant of Australasian conditions and legislation.
