This session, facilitated by Tyrone Toole, Phil Hunt and Ranita Sen on 17 June 2020, focuses on the life-cycle costing framework and a suite of practical examples to demonstrate how to assess the best use of available marginal and non‑standard materials in sealed roads in different geographical and climactic conditions in Australia.

Special guest speakers from ARRB’s Asset Management team provides a detailed introduction into the PLCC tool. Phil Hunt from Road Engineering Services talks about local insight into the performance of sealed roads in the Western Queensland region, followed by worked examples through the presentation of several case studies.
