Recommendations for the development of guidance and standards for adoption and use of safety harnesses and vests

The purpose of this project is to address knowledge gaps in relation to safety harnesses and vests in motor vehicles, in order to assist the development of guidance and standards for their adoption and use.

This involves reviewing harnesses and vests commonly used by children with disabilities and medical conditions in motor vehicles in Australia and New Zealand; including the identification of any safety risks associated with their use in motor vehicles.
