Optimised asset management for bridges

This project will develop a management framework and risk-assessment process for bridges. The project will address bridge maintenance, so the most cost-effective treatments can be applied at the best time to achieve the least overall life-cycle cost. It will also develop investment business cases, so all parties can understand investment required to improve bridge levels of service. Overall, this project is expected to provide robust, transparent justification for investments in bridge maintenance and level of service improvements.
