This webinar will give you an overview of a Safe Systems review of the Austroads Guide to Traffic Management (AGTM).
The AGTM series provides guidance for practitioners involved in traffic engineering, road design and road safety, and plays an influential role in the selection of treatments used on road networks.
Strengthening the guidance relating to treatments and their likely effectiveness in alignment with the Safe System philosophy presents an opportunity to integrate Safe System into traffic engineering and management activities.
In this webinar you’ll learn about
- where there is an opportunity to further embed Safe System into the AGTM series based on recent research
- the new and revised content to address many of the safe system gaps in the AGTM to strengthen the guidance relating to treatments and their likely effectiveness in aligning with Safe System philosophy
- recommendations towards the implementation of the findings.
