This webinar will give you an overview of the 2018 edition of the Guide to Asset Management which provides guidance for road managers on the application of contemporary ‘whole of organisation’ asset management practice to road networks.
The Guide is comprised of 15 parts published under three broad themes: management overview, asset management processes, and technical information.
This webinar will be beneficial if you are involved in the management of road infrastructure assets including structures and non-pavement assets or seek to learn more about fundamental asset management concepts, principles, issues and procedures.
You’ll learn about the:
- road infrastructure scene in which the Guide operates
- definition of asset management in a road agency context
- reference to the ISO standards that the Guide is founded on
- core concepts of the Guide
- integrated asset management framework approach
Join in a live Q&A with our presenter to have your questions answered.
A series of workshops will be scheduled following the webinar. After this webinar you will be given the opportunity to suggest aspects of the Guide that should be covered in the workshops.
