This webinar, presented on 6 November 2017, provides an overview of the key changes to Guide to Traffic Management Part 6: Intersections, Interchanges and Crossings and the Guide to Road Design Part 4: Intersections and Crossings – General and Part 4A: Unsignalised and Signalised Intersections. The 2017 editions update previous Austroads guidance and presents the latest practices and guidelines for the selection and design of intersections including the latest Safe System practice. The webinar was presented by Peter Aumann and Lisa Steinmetz.

A ‘push-pull’ approach to minimise jurisdictional supplements to Austroads Guide to Road Design

Austroads has reviewed jurisdictional practices of developing supplements to its Guide to Road Design and devised a process that will reduce the need for supplements. This includes a pathway for adding supplement material to the Guide.
