Webinar: Austroads Guide to Road Design Part 3: Geometric Design - Session 2

In October 2016 Austroads delivered a two-part webinar providing an overview of the updated Guide to Road Design Part 3: Geometric Design. This second session covers horizontal and vertical alignment, and superelevation.

The webinar is presented by Peter Aumann, Principal Research Engineer, ARRB Group. Peter specialises in road design with a cross over in traffic management and road safety. He played a pivotal role in the 2016 update of the Guide.

A ‘push-pull’ approach to minimise jurisdictional supplements to Austroads Guide to Road Design

Austroads has reviewed jurisdictional practices of developing supplements to its Guide to Road Design and devised a process that will reduce the need for supplements. This includes a pathway for adding supplement material to the Guide.
