The findings of Austroads major theme project - Roads in the Community - have been published as a two-part report Roads in the Community Are They Doing Their Job? and Roads in the Community: Towards Better Practice. The report was commissioned as an independent state-of-the-nation review of how well our roads are serving the nation's needs and putting forward ideas for improvement. The report is accompanied by a summary document - Australia at the Crossroads - consisting of a distillation of the information and ideas from the full report.
