Pavement

Part 8 of the Guide to Pavement Technology provides advice on the general requirements for the management of quality assurance, construction planning, earthworks, subsurface drainage, unbound pavements, stabilised pavements, sprayed bituminous surfacings, asphalt pavements and surfacings and concrete pavements.  The advice has been developed from the approaches followed by Austroads member authorities.  However, as it encompasses the wide range of materials and conditions found in Australia and New Zealand, some parts are broadly based.
