This report compares the deterioration of two pavement groups in the US-LTPP program (GPS1 and GPS2) with that of the Australian LTPP GPS1 and GPS2 pavement groups. For the non-freezing group of the GPS1 pavements, the US sections had similar roughness and structural deterioration rates to those of the Australian sections. For the non-freezing group of the GPS2 pavements, the deterioration rates of the US and Australian sections were closer for all deterioration parameters except the mid-lane deflection (structural deterioration).
