This new National Prequalification System (NPS) documentation is made available to road agencies and industry to enable the new specialist category for precast concrete to be formally introduced into the NPS.

Individual participating authorities will determine if and when they adopt the new national specialist category at a jurisdictional level, and they may advertise for applications from entities seeking to achieve prequalification. Advice of the categories adopted by each participating authority will be provided to the NPS Management Committee to enable appropriate governance arrangements to be implemented at the national level.

These guidelines have been prepared as a template for road agencies to adapt for use within their local jurisdiction and are provided in PDF and Word format. Companies should not use this version of the guidelines to submit their applications for prequalification or mutual recognition.

The guidelines should be read in conjuntion with the report AP-R554-17 National Prequalification System: Inclusion of Specialist Precast Concrete Categories.
