Congratulations to Menno Henneveld who was awarded a Member (AM) in the General Division in the 2015 Australia Day Honours List, announced yesterday.
The AM is awarded for service in a particular locality or field of activity or to a particular group.
Menno was recognised for significant service to engineering, particularly road transport infrastructure.
Menno is the Vice-President of the World Road Association and was Australian First Delegate to the Association from 2007-2012.
He was also an Austroads Board member for 10 years between 2002-2012, and was Chair from 2005-2007.
The Australian honours system recognises the actions and achievements of people who go above and beyond what could be reasonably expected, and in doing so, encourages national aspirations and ideals of the highest community standards and values.
